Don Francis
Founder & CEO
I graduated from the International Academy of Hair Design in 2007. Growing up, my parents knew I'd do something in the beauty industry. I thought my passion for hair, makeup, and fashion was just a hobby, after working in a few salons during high school, I knew I was meant to be "behind the chair!"
After finishing school, I became a blonde expert and was certified in several types of hair extensions. I never wanted to limit myself, so I mastered men's and women's cuts, perms, color corrections, and relaxers. Through advanced education and my clients' loyalty, I became a Master Stylist and Educator. I enjoyed sharing my passion through teaching about techniques, business, and product knowledge.
I wanted to take my career to the next level and began working for myself in Old Town Scottsdale. While there, I fell in love with Goldwell products, as did my awesome clients. After a year, I knew it was time to open my own salon and combine my passions and dedication of hair art, business, design, and my desire to make people look and feel beautiful. The Collective Hair Studio opened January 1, 2016 and has been an amazing experience! I love having a second home where I can pamper my guests and do what I love. I look forward to continuing to grow as a stylist and business owner. I feel blessed that I get to do what I love and meet amazing people every day!

My name is Shaye Snyder and I’ve been doing hair since 2012 when I graduated from Empire Beauty School in Chandler Arizona. My interest in hair began when I was a little girl and only intensified as I grew older. It was the only profession I could see myself doing that gave me total purpose and excitement to work hard, being the best me I can be everyday. My passion is people and beauty. I am truly blessed I found a career that I’m actually great at. I love creating all kinds of haircuts, colors, and styles from long layers to short pixies to faded men’s cuts. Hi, I’m Amanda! I’ve known I wanted to do hair since I was little! I was born and raised in Arizona. I graduated from Eastern Arizona Academy of Cosmetology in 2013. You could say I have a passion for hair, makeup and everything in between! I chose this as my career because it makes me happy! I’m eager to make everyone feel beautiful. I love blondes but I’m excited by all colors, cuts and textures! I like the outdoors, but enjoy a good sitcom just as much. I have a cat named Sprinkles. I’m engaged to be married in 2021 and I love living in AZ!

Building my confidence and skills I then decided to venture out and start my own path! I've been renting my chair with The Collective Hair Studio since March of 2017!
