I graduated from the International Academy of Hair Design in 2007. Growing up, my parents knew I'd do something in the beauty industry. I thought my passion for hair, makeup, and fashion was just a hobby, after working in a few salons during high school, I knew I was meant to be "behind the chair!" After finishing school, I became a blonde expert and was certified in several types of hair extensions. I never wanted to limit myself, so I mastered men's and women's cuts, perms, color corrections, and relaxers. Through advanced education and my clients' loyalty, I became a Master Stylist and Educator. I enjoyed sharing my passion through teaching about techniques, business, and product knowledge. I wanted to take my career to the next level and began working for myself in Old Town Scottsdale. While there, I fell in love with Goldwell products, as did my awesome clients. After a year, I knew it was time to open my own salon and combine my passions and dedication of hair art, business, design, and my desire to make people look and feel beautiful. The Collective Hair Studio opened January 1, 2016 and has been an amazing experience! I love having a second home where I can pamper my guests and do what I love. I look forward to continuing to grow as a stylist and business owner. I feel blessed that I get to do what I love and meet amazing people every day!

I began my cosmetology career in Nashville, Tennessee, before my husband and I made the move to Arizona. I’ve been behind the chair since 2019, and over the years I’ve found my passion in blonding, gray coverage, long layered haircuts, and creating looks that feel personal and effortless. I believe a great service starts with a thorough consultation—getting to know my clients, their lifestyle, and how they want to feel when they leave my chair. Hair is more than just a job to me; it’s a creative outlet that allows me to build genuine connections and be part of each client’s transformation. Through continued education and the loyalty of my clients, I earned my Senior Stylist title and love sharing my knowledge through hair care education and personalized product guidance. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll usually find me snuggling my puppy, reading a good book, binge-watching Netflix, or enjoying cooking nights and date nights with my husband.

I moved to Phoenix from the east coast and decided to change up my career and do what I’ve always been drawn to. I graduated from Aveda Institute Phoenix and have been in the industry for 5 years. I’m passionate about sun-kissed, effortless, lived-in color and beachy textures. Come as you are and leave feeling your favorite self, whether that’s a subtle refresh or a full glow-up.

I grew up in California before moving to Arizona, and I’ve always been drawn to art, self-expression, and the way beauty can empower people. That love for creativity led me to cosmetology, where I get to blend artistry with technical skill to create looks that feel uniquely you. I specialize in dimensional color, vivid transformations, curly hair care, and precision cuts. I love guiding clients toward styles that highlight their individuality and bring out their natural beauty—because your hair should feel like an extension of who you are. My goal is to make every guest in my chair feel comfortable, cared for, and confident. To me, the salon chair isn’t just about great hair—it’s about good energy, creativity, and leaving with the confidence you deserve.

Hi! I’m Emily I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I’ve had a passion for hair for as long as I can remember, and I’m proud to be a Penrose Academy graduate, Class of 2025. When I’m not behind the chair, you can usually find me shopping, going on walks, camping, or spending time with my family. As a stylist, I specialize in highlights, haircuts, and all things color. My favorite part of every service is seeing the joy and confidence my clients leave with. Helping people feel beautiful is truly what inspires me.
